Heat for relief of soreness on my lump and cord

My Dupuytren's is N-0, but I can tell it is growing. When my hand is stretched open or something hits my lump, it actually hurts. I have discovered that using some heat on my lump and cord temporarily relieves the soreness and pain. Hot water works but sometimes I rest my laptop on my palm which gets pretty hot.

Has anyone else found this to be the case?

Is there any known case of heat therapy making DD worse or better?

Yes,

I often use warm compresses or put my hand on a hot surface. rubbing the cord using lotions helps as well.

I guess N-0 I have a 15 degree contratcure on my ring finger/left hand( MCP). The nodule and cord are extremely thick as seen in this photo.

I am just starting to see two pitts on my right hand ring and middle finger. I have only seen a hand surgeon once about six months ago who said to do nothing until it gt worse.

I live in New Jersey and emailed this pic ure to Dr. Pess. I hope to get an appointment to discuss possible NA as well as other options for my right hand.
