foot cream

I am so happy to have found this forum and to hear about the experiences of others with these issues. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. It has helped me to understand that even though this stinks, it is rather common.

I am a 50yo female with nodules in both feet. The orthopedist gave me a script for cream with diclofenac, verapamil, and bupivacaine. I used it for several weeks. I did not find that it was particularly helpful, the nodules just got bigger and the feet still hurt and sometimes cramp. Should I have given it a longer trial or is it the kind of thing that either works or doesn't?

At this time I don't see any nodules in my hands but they sometimes cramp quite painfully usually when I grip something tightly. I have always gotten sporadic foot cramps. I am new to hand cramps and am not that thrilled with them. I am hesitating to go to the hand doctor because I don't see nodules or cords but there is some weird callusing. I have started to drop things right out of my hand but I am not sure why. I think it is a bit of numbness that is sporadic too. I am so hair triggered to worry about them, I could be anticipating trouble that may not even come. The information on the Internet seems to suggest that one should wait until the hand can no longer flatten. What do you think? Thank you.
