Moton's toe, LD and foot pain.
I have DD in both hands which has been successfully treated by RT. I have kept a watch on my feet and have no nodules.
However I also have Morton's toe which I was unaware of until recently. I have had sore knees for 20 years and finally found a specialist who recognising Morton's toe, suggested increasing support under the ball of my foot to slightly correct my gait. This has substantially reduced my knee soreness after about 6 months.
However, about two weeks ago my feet have become sore and there is one spot on the left foot that is very sensitive to touch. I cannot feel a nodule.
I have not changed my footwear.
While many things can cause sore feet, is pain and tightness in both feet a forerunner of LD?

Stephen, Did you have two separate RT treatments for the dd in your hands and if so how many weeks apart?

Re: Moton's toe, LD and foot pain.
RT was given more or less as described by Prof. Seegenschmidt; that is 5x3Gy followed by a break for 6-8 weeks followed by a further 5x3Gy. The left hand was done about 18months ago and the right hand about 6 months ago.

Re: Moton's toe, LD and foot pain.
Hi Stephen, to answer you question about the early signs of LD, here is my experience: it started with severe itching, and then I had regular cramps starting while doing normal everyday movements or stretching . Then, the pain on finger pressure started and a general consciousness of my feet when walking. Then I realized that walking on soft sand was painful because it molded to my arch and put pressure on it. I had RT this spring and summer and it helped on pain and comfort. Crossing my fingers...
