San Francisco Area need doc able to treat with current tx (Hyaluronidase, etc.)
I have seen two different Podiatrists over the course of 9 years. One was a Kaiser doc and the previous one was not.
Both of them recommended a course of "conservative" care. The second Podiatrist gave me Verapamil gel that I have used at times (not entirely consistently.)
The Fibroma has grown and is progressively more painful. Walking hurts and I am SO frustrated with the situation. I feel that the Kaiser docs will consistently opt for "conservative" care to save money. (I am still a Kaiser member.)
Do any of you know of a Kaiser doc in Northern California who considers ALL the most appropriate treatments? Has anyone been successful in obtaining treatment through them? Have you gone to private Podiatrists? If so, who seems to be affordable, but skilled and Board certified?
I think the best initial therapy might be the Hyaluronidase. Has Kaiser offered this treatment to any of you?
Sorry for the long post and I appreciate any information that anyone can share.

Re: San Francisco Area need doc able to treat with current tx (Hyaluronidase, etc.)
If your fibroma is in a growing stage, which means they are active, RT might be an option. See if Kaiser can offer this treatment if not, you have to find somebody who does, or fly to Germany to see Dr. Seegenschmiedt. , there is lots of info about this on this forum. There is a Dr. in San Diego who has treated many patients on this forum, they call him Dr. T. There is also a Ledderhose blog, very informative. Best of luck,
Christl

Ester, type in RT Kaiser in search and you will get info, here is one:
Re: Treatments: Kaiser and Other Hi Bonnie. I'm a Kaiser client as well. I met with Dr Jann Johnson a few weeks ago for the nodules forming in my Rt palm. She refered me to a Kaiser affiliated cancer treatment center in Rohnert Park for RT therapy. I met with the very nice staff last week, and will begin a 7 treatment series next week. 3X a week 'til done. Although the staff physician admits they have little experience treating RT, I am hopeful! Happy to share anything else I can with you. Thomas

Thank you so much for all of this information! I really appreciate the specific names and tips Thomas.
Wishing everyone well and hope your conditions respond to treatment. (I hope the place in Rohnert Park provides effective treatment.)
