Tacón de Achiles de nódulos
Hello! I have recently been receiving radiotherapy treatment on my hands for bilateral Dupuytren's. I have two small cords, one on each hand, without retraction, and small nodules, which are difficult to see with diagnostic imaging. I have had 4 sessions and only one remains. Now comes the strange part. Yesterday, while I was with some friends, I felt a great discomfort in my Achilles heel that left me unable to put weight on my foot for a few minutes. Shortly after, I discovered a lump on the inside of my heel, very hard. Does anyone have any idea if it is related to the disease and if it is possible for it to appear in that area? I don't think I hit myself or at least not that I know of. Thanks. I can’t upload any image

Re: Nodule Achiles heel
Hi Oscar
I don't have LD but have experienced achilles pain related to a lump inside the heel. However this was due to a sporting injury that was diagnosed along the lines of an (achilles) tendon insertion injury. This took awhile, several months, to heal but likely because I continued with the sport. This may not be so helpful to you but your symptom doesn't really sound like it is related to LD unless it is a side effect due to gait or unusual foot weight loading. Maybe see a Doctor or sports physio or podiatrist?
Best wishes SB
