    A general question - do the locations of tendons and nodules/cords have any relationship? Here's what I mean:

    Re. depth, is the diseased tissue typically less deep than the tendons, or about the same depth?

    Re. location in the other directions, do cords and nodules tend to be located near tendons?

    Hi John,

    cords are a reaction of the body to pulling forces on the original nodule. These forces act when the finger is being used and typically act along tendons.. Thereforde cords are typically along or in the direction of tendons. Initially in medicine the cords were mistaken as thickended tendons. But they are no tendons, which is obvious after NA (PNF) where the cord is broken but the tendon stays untouched and the finger afterwards works normal.
