Newly diagnosed
Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with Dupuytren's and will be seeing a hand specialist/surgeon tomorrow for a consultation. The research I've done online seems to indicate that at my early stage (cords and nodules, but no contracture) ensyme injections or radiation therapy may be the best options, or maybe NA. Does anyone have any experience/advise for any of these?

Re: Newly diagnosed
Julie, without any contraction NA and Collagenase injection probably don't make much sense. Both therapies aim at breaking contracting cords. If there aren't such cords the therapy can't do much. In early stage radiation therapy might slow down progression and might be worth considering.
