Hi All. I am a new DDer after a minor wrist fracture, followed by Carpel Tunnel Surgery. There was much swelling in the hand following the latter and at my 5 week post surgery checkup I asked about the hardened area of my palm which was soft but not "squishy" like general swelling. Dr. diagnosed DD and basically told me not to worry. HA! I have an appt to discuss RT at one of the locations on this site in a few days. My question is are the lumps considered to be the same little hard bead size things I have found closer to the joint? I think of them as nodules because they are small (like a pencil eraser) and very hard as compared to the softer and larger lumps I feel on my palm. Also, I feel a cord beginning in the little finger between two of these beads. Sounds pretty classic to me. Is there a difference?
