My little finger on my right hand is also contracted - 45 degrees with two additional fingers showing beginning contracture. After much thought about all the options, particularly surgery, I have decided to take my chances and do nothing! This decision is not made lightly! I have to many pre-existing co-morbib factors which dramatically increase the likelihood that I shall continue to face increasing DD and DC in both hands. Why gut my hand and face increasing complications like more surgery. All the options are not curative but merely temporary interventions in the face of this disease. I'll have to see where my choice takes me!
