Radiation Treatment In New Zealand

Auckland Hospital is now offering Radiation Therapy on Dupuytrens, and apparently on the other types as well. Dr C Benjamin, I start course of 5 treatments on R H after easter. Will advise on progress. Have currently had 3 ops on L little finger and now L ring finger is quite deformed. 0-90degree in a year. Still looking for alternatives for this as surgery just seems to make it come back quicker and more aggressive.

Re: Radiation Treatment In New Zealand

Hi,

I hope it works for you. I have tried surgery, needling,& XIAFLEX. Each one made it worse. I now have a tiger claw hand.

Radiation sounds a bit scary. Wondering what levels not to much to damage bones . what level is your DC in?
Mine is at level 4 maxed out.
That was a treatment for many years. Today lasers have popped up too!

Good luck with your treatment. Lots of positive thoughts sent your way,

See pic of my results from surgery, needling and XIAFLEX. It's worse now before I started with treatment.
