Painful nodule on palm

Hi everyone!

So getting straight to the point, I notice a nodule on my right palm under the ring finger about 2 years ago. I did not think much of it and ignored it. In the past 6 months it has gotten a little bit larger and is now painful, can hardly do push ups, hold heavy items or anything that puts pressure on the nodule anymore because of the pain. Been google'in and found this disease and this forum, looks like the same thing. My question is, is there any treatment or exercises that can help?

I am a 21 year old male btw.

Re: Painful nodule on palm

What you are describing might or might not be Dupuytren disease. Nodules in the palm can be caused by a variety of reasons, see e.g. "first exclude other causes" on https://www.dupuytren-online.info/dupuyt..._therapies.html, and every cause requires different therapies . My advice would be to have your nodule first inspected and diagnosed by a doctor. You should have a firm diagnosis before embarking on any kind of therapy!

Agree ...be 1000 % certain of what you have...
two years ago I thought I had a palm nodule...went to hand sugeon..I asked if I should consider radiation..
He said yes...go for it ..
I got another opinion...I was told it is a vein and not to get radiation..
Guess what ...the nodule/vein went away on it's own
