Ring finger is locking up Help!
Went to Primary care Doc. He says it is because of DM Type II and it is Dupuytren Contractures. I also have my right shoulder that is frozen up and my stomach is locking up anybody like that? If so, what kind of doctor handles this crisis?

Hi welcome to the forum . You made no mention of the ring finger in your post. Recently I spoke with a Hand/Upper Limb Surgeon, who mentioned Trigger Finger was seen in many Dupuytren patients. Do you mean this?

My right hand middle finger also locked. I went to my primary GP who sent me to an orthopedic doctor. This is all the food chain per my insurance coverage.
I had the TFR (trigger finger release) and I'm not sure if I made things worse. My next step is continue PT and have another followup.
I may seek a second opinion with a hand surgeon if needed.
