Swollen knuckle after operation
Had surgery on hand 2 weeks ago. Little finger had curled right over.
Knuckle is swollen and cannot make a fist yet.
How long does the finger stay swollen for.
The scar seems to be healing quite well.

Welcome to the forum
Two weeks is very early in the recovery of DD surgery. Swelling and stiffnes has been reported for weeks up to several months, even 18 months but that is worse case and of course depends on the surgery itself. Good scar healing is a positive indication that perhaps you will recover sooner rather than later, but be prepared to be patient. Follow the advice for scar management (softening) and physical therapy exercises but don't overdo it.
