Trigger Finger surgery with existing Dupuytren

I have been diagnosed with Dupuytren Contracture in both hands. Two weeks ago, I underwent surgery for Trigger Finger, right hand, ring finger. The incision was made at exactly same spot where I suffer with a large tendon affected by the Dupuytren. I am experiencing extreme pain, swelling below fingers on either side of incision and the affected finger is still not not extending. I realize it is very soon after this surgery but I had a previous trigger finger surgery pre-Dupuytren and recovery was almost instant with no problems. If you have experienced this type surgery, please inform me: Am I expecting too much too soon?
