Botox and Dupuytren

I am wondering if anyone knows if research has been done using Botox to retard or stop the growth associated with Dupuytren? I have heard the botox has many effects and one of them is stop tissue from growing.

botox..what it does....

I get botox on my frown line. My doctor says it affects the nerve thus causing you not to move that particular muscle, thus after m any months of not using that particular muscle it starts to attrophy (sp?)...which doesn't mean the tissue stops growing. BUT I think anything is worth looking into. I doubt that my botox doctor would know what Dupuytrens is, but maybe somebody else...?
