DR. EATON

Randy, I read your post. No nerve damage. excellent results. Dr. Eaton asks you constantly about if he is near nerves. No problem.. Hand is a little numb for about 24 hrs... probably due to local.. I am going to call and make an appointment in about 8 months to have hands re checked and some of the cords that are too soft at this time to be snipped to be done then....I am making my appointment now as I am sure he will be extremely busy as word spreads...
I will also be glad to send pictures of before and after, but they are very much like what is on his website at www.the hand center.org....I don't understant why the rest of the medical community isn't hopping on this..So fast...and easy... Much better in my eyes than regular procedures....KEEP GOING DR. EATON AND THANK YOU AGAIN!!

TREATMENT BY DR. EATON

RANDY, I went to my Dr's office this week for another minor problem..I got a fairly new young physician. He was very very interested in Dr. Eaton and wanted to know his web. site.....I showed him before and after pictures. He says he is going to tell his collegues. Kepp spreading the word as many physicians are not even aware this is happening. Now my neighbor has DC, a girl at the Jupiter Hotel in Florida knew someone that had it, and a gentlemen at my beauty shop also believes he has it... People are popping up right and left....The more you tell, the more you fine out that have this desease....

Treatment by Dr. Eaton

Hey Randy
Thanks for that site to watch the video of Dr. Eatons treatment. I had been diagnosed with DP of my right pinky years ago at the Mayo Clinic. I twice rejected their hand surgeon's desire to do the barbaric surgery. I called Dr. Eaton's Office in May and am scheduled for July 1st. I am so looking forward to the treatment by the good Doctor as my DP has now progressed to Stage IV with the contraction > 145 degrees.
This Forum has really made the difference in getting out the word on Dupuytren's Disease. I am blessed to be only a three hour drive from Jupiter and will let everybody know how my treatment goes!

DR. EATON

GOOD LUCK, I WENT IN MAY.... YOUWILL NOT BE SORRY...WONDERFULL DOCTOR... I TOOK A FROZEN BOTTLE OF WATER TO CARRY IN MY HAND OFF AND ON SO WE COULD SEE SITES.
DR'S OFFICE WILL ALSO RECOMMEND A HOTEL NEAR IF YOU NEED IT.
THE JUPITER LIGHTHOUSE COFFE SHOP ON HIGHWAY 1 , CLOSE BY IS GOOD FOR A HOME MADE MEAL AND NOT TOO EXPENSIVE. I THINK IF YOU ARE SPENDING THE NIGHT THAT THEY ARE RECOMMENDING THE WELLINGSTON??? IT LOOKED NICE AND HAD SEVERAL RESTAURANTS NEARBY AND WAS CLOSE TO DR.S OFFICE..
GOOD LUCK AND DON'T BE SCARED... IT WAS A PIECE OF CAKE

2nd visit to Dr. Eaton

Today,June 28th 04, I had my second and hopefully last visit to see Dr. Eaton. It went very well and released all remaining cords.
He says he has never read this forum. I told him he is very popular.
Good luck to all of you!
I probably will not be back to post anymore.

Dr. Eaton

When I search Google for Dupuytren's I see a box on the right side of the page which says:

Sponsored Links

Dupuytren's Contracture?
Needle Aponeurotomy. No Stitches.
Recover in Days, not Months.

It looks like our good Dr. Eaton is very proactive in advertising his wonderful services after all. Good for him and good for us.

Treatment by Eaton

Commercial links to Eaton's site are now appearing elsewhere as well. He is spending the money required to increase the Internet awareness of NA exponentially. Soon his entire practice may be devoted to nothing but NA. We need to get other docs involved!!! Make sure the surgeon who's advice you didn't follow is made aware of your NA "after pictures". Eaton himself became aware of NA **through one of his patients**. The same will probably be true of the next four or five additional surgeons that can be won over to NA. Once that happens, the surgical dominos will fall quickly. More and more Dups surgeons will realize their patient base is dwindling. They'll get on board or get left behind.

Sure there will be the occasional need for traditional surgery, but only after NA has proven ineffective.

Amazing! Proactive patients, using the Internet as a tool, are in the process of completely changing the way a disease will be treated....after nearly 200 years. Now is no time to rest on our hinnies. If you've had NA, don't let your Almost-Surgeon remain in his ignorance. Yes, you might be dismissed as a lucky freak of nature, but at least you've done your job. You are the only one who can do it.

Treatment by Eaton

Thanks Randy, I could not agree more...If alot of people had not been persistant in this forum..I probably would have ended up with the dreaded Traditional Surgery...I am very greatfull to the ones that hung in there and kept letting others know about Dr. Eaton..No one can tell anyone how simple it is until they have actually done the N.A.
I will be going back to Dr. Eaton and am telling every doctor that I see... Thanks again to all...

treatment by Dr. Eaton

Well you can add another happy recipient of NA to the list. I went to see Dr. Eaton on July 22. I had some well developed contractures on two fingers on my left hand and my other two fingers on the same hand were also getting bad. I recieved 12 "bee sting" shots with the needle in what Dr. Eaton described as a medium degree treatement. He only charged me for the two fingers, when he probably could have charged for more - that spoke volumes to me about his honesty and integrity.

Two weeks later I am very happy with the result. All the fingers are moving well and the puncture wounds have healed. I was able to play ice hockey one week after the treatment. The whole process was very smooth and the staff at the HandCenter is great.

Very sincere thanks to all the folks who posted here to inform me of the procedure.
