Dr. Eaton

I email the author of the article on Boise TV who quote the local hand docs saying surgery was the only treatment for DD. This was her reply:

"Thank you for telling me about your alternative treatment to surgery for Dupuytren's Contracture. I report on local stories in Boise, Idaho and the doctors here told us surgery was the only form of treatment. But it sounds like that is not true - though from what I have read, Dr. Eaton is the only doctor in the United States to do the needle aponevrotomy. It also sounds like you're a lucky guy to have him as your doctor. I'm glad the procedure went so well. And I appreciate the extra information. I'll have to change the line in my website story that says surgery is the only way to go."

Dr. Eaton

Just returned from Jupiter, Florida after NA procedure at Dr. Eaton's office. Dr. Eaton, and staff support is a First Class experience. This marked my second NA procedure (initial correction, 3/7/02, performed by Dr. Badois). Dressing was removed after 36 hours with complete flexibility, and zero physical restrictions.

Many thanks again for Walt Stagner's NA experience sharing, (personal video) which prompted Dr. Eaton take a closer look at NA.

Dr. Eaton is the quintessential surgeon, with open-minded vison!

Dr Eaton

I have been dianosed with Dupuytren's disease. My litle finger on my right hand is about 30% contracted and I need Dr. Eaton's name, address, and phone number. I am presently in Fl at Vero Beach. I would appreciate someone sending me this info. I was of the opinion that surgery was the only way and I dread it. Thanks, Stu

treatment by Dr. Eaton

Just want to let everyone know that I'm counting down the days till my appointment with Dr. Eaton. I leave the damp and dreary mid-west (Michigan) this Fri the 5th and travel to Florida. My appointment with Dr. Eaton is Monday the 8th at 11 am. I will report back to everyone on Tuesday. I personally can't wait.
I also contacted my 'hand surgeon' yesterday. I spoke with a nurse at the office and gave them Dr. Eaton's link for the HandCenter website and asked that he take a look at the procedure. If he actually does or not is yet to be seen.
I'll keep you posted.

where to stay in West Palm Beach ?

Hi All
I finally am able to travel to Fl w/my husband and have put in a request for an appointment w/Dr Eaton for NA on BOTH hands.
Now- WHERE does on stay in West Palm Beach? Can anyone recommend a ice motel ? I'll have to stay a week to get both hands done as Dr Eaton does not suggest doing BOTH hands the same day.
Looking forward to your answers.

Good morning Miriam,

I would stay in Jupiter. There are some nice motels along Indiantown Road, near Dr. Eaton's office. We stayed at the
Jupiter Beach Resort (http://www.jupiterbeachresort.com/). It was very nice. Right on the beach. Excellent food and entertainment. I thought it was a perfect base for exploring southern Forida. It is only 5 minutes from Dr. Eaton's office.

Dr Eaton

I had made an apt to go to Paris in June to have the NA done there but thanks to this board, I found that Dr. Eaton could do the procedure here. I have an apt for 5 April and cannot wait to be rid of this ?8&#$@(+ in my hand. I too am counting down the days. I made reservations at the Wellesley Inn, just blocks from the doctors office and on the water. The procedure, I am told, takes 20 minutes. Is this a blessing or What?

Dr. Eaton

Well Everyone,
I just want to say that I have returned from my appointment at Dr. Eatons yesterday. The Dr. and his staff were great. I know this has been said before, but he is a warm, genuine and caring Dr. My apppointment was for 11:00, I got in at 11:30 which was fine. After pictures of the 'before' and washing, he got started. I had the procedure done on my right hand. The only pain was the injection of the 'local', which was a small burning sensation followed by a second or two of a bee sting feeling, then nothing. He started right away. He broke/cut the cord in my palm which you can hear give way. He then did my fingers and took care of a 'bunching' of skin. I was out of there between 12:30 - 1pm. They took after pictures, gave me a printed copy of before and after. I went to the airport and caught my flight home at 4:45. I literally had no pain whatsoever. Today I have a small black and blue spot in my palm but my hand is 100%. My right hand is now back to pre-lump condition!! I am back at work as we speak, no splint with a right hand that is fully functional.

For any one out there considering this and hesitant, don't be. I am 'One happy Customer'.
