Nodules
Can you describe where the "nodules" are?
Are they on your hand? Are they on the palm?
Are they on the top (not palm) side. How long
in duration and how rapid in appearance. If you
provide more information, many others may be able
to provide some insight. Do you have any other
information: age race, ancestry, etc.? The
family "picture" sometimes sheds light on the condition and posible diagnosis. Finally, what country you live in
impacts treatment choices (where and how much cost.)

OK more info......
Well, the nodule is on my right hand below my middle finger,almost dead center of my palm. It started a little tender while washing my hands then grew in size over about a week. Then a hand surgeon diagnosed DC. I am of Polish decent, but first case in my family that I am aware of.
Here is the thing. Since diagnosis the nodule is more tender slightly larger. At the end of the day my hand is generally "heavier". I am very active and want to know if a steriod injection would realive a little pain, maybe decrease the size and delay the progression at all.
