Just returned from seeing Dr. Binhammer in Toronto, ON.
Surgery went well. Baby finger is much straighter. Dr. Binhammer uses a needle and I have only 2 small needle marks on my baby finger. OHIP pays for it all and the only cost was $35 for a splint which I am to wear for 3 months while I sleep. A previous consult with a plastic surgeon gave me hopes of a %50 improvement and the Needle Fasciotomy has given me more than that. Dr. Binhammer said the result was excellent and the finger straight, although there is a little curve still there.
