I Emailed Dr. Eaton and got this reply from Dr. Eaton and Teri:
" I have done over 1200 hands at this point, and the vast majority were able to resume nearly immediate normal function. The minority needed night time splints. I am looking for a statitician to review my results so far and am planning to contact the University of Florida for this - to be able to give accurate answers to questions like yours."
