Yes I drove from Le Thillay not to far from CDG to Gagny then all the way to L'Etang-la-Ville near St Germain-en- Laye to drop my daughter off at her grandparents then back to Le Thillay. No probs. I've been coming over here for years and are used to their driving (or lack there of) skills. In Octobre I was over here and bought a portable GPS system after getting terribly lost at night in the Black Forest area of Germany. It makes all the difference. You only have to worry about the driving and not the navigating. What I always have a problem with though over here is their french keyboards - keep hitting the wrong keys.
Anyway both hands are still quite a bit tender. Does that last long? But the fingers are straight and thats great! I am staying at a friends place so I might just go up the road and get a big fresh baguette ( they are so much better than back home)and get stuck into it for lunch with some french cheeses and saussison. Sound good?
