DD and computer mouse overuse injury

In recently reviewing my progress following RT for DD, it occurred to me that the the nodules developed in my left hand about 5 years ago which was about the time I also had increased pain from computer overuse. I predominantly use the mouse with my left hand and get periodic pain in my knuckles, forearm and shoulder. Does anyone else have a sense that this may be a contributing factor?

PS I have switched to using the mouse with my right hand and regularly review my work station habits.

Re: DD and computer mouse overuse injury

I don't know whether this is coincidence or relationship, but I've had very similar experience. However, bouts of wrist tendinopathy / carpal tunnel-like issues began for me several years before I developed any nodules in my dominant hand. In the last couple of years, though, the two seem to be connected: when I start to develop computer-overuse syndrome generalized through the wrist and arm, my palm becomes more sensitive and the nodule areas more tender.

I am using the Microsoft combo pack mouse and it is suitable for both the left hand as well as for the right hand people.
You have to sit in proper position at the time you are using computer or laptop.
Try to avoid the use of mouse and learn the new keyboard shortcuts. It will defiantly help you.
