developed rash

Hello to all. I have developed a rash on the back of my left hand. I had my first treatment of radiotherapy on this hand in March.

I would think it an allergic reaction type rash, with small reddened pimples which isn't exactly itchy but does sting a little.

I can't think of anything I would use that would affect my left hand and not my right one. Has anyone else had anything like it after RT?

Thanks

Mary

Re: developed rash

You can always telephone the number on the paper you were given if you had any questions about treatment. It sounds unusual but this stuff keeps working so whether that is normal or can otherwise be explained, it sounds like it's worth a call

Cambidgeshire, UK.

Re: developed rash

It's probably not related because the radiation wouldn't penatrate that far.

Form isn't accepting my pass word for some reason.

Re: developed rash

Thanks to both. Not so worried now as it seems to have died down a bit. It must have been an allergy to something.

I am a born worrier!

Consider it a need to understand not a worry. Looking for undestanding is what has driven much progress in many fields
