Re: Radiation Therapy - Help Needed Please

Clear advice from my side: you seem to have a complicated and already pre-operated stage; to make a decision whether radiotherapy will work under those circumstances you need to have the most experienced RT specialist.
The one's who claim to do it have don a few (less than 10 !), and of those even less have experience with the postoperative situation ; therefore you get a clear advice from my side : Prof. Seegenschmiedt in Hamburg has the world-leading experience ! I am a physician myself and I am not aggreeing with all aspects of medicine ...

However, personal experience, diligent examination and well-balanced advice is the greatest treasure an experienced doctor can offer you ...

Wish you good luck and good decisions, Larry

I had RT on the NHS at Poole about 3 years ago my GP was happy to refer me but didn't know it was available in this country until I told him, but recently saw another GP for referral for RT on my other hand and he is insisting I see a consultant hand surgeon. I am going to see another GP and every GP in the practice if I have to. RT on my left hand was very successful, nodules and cords decreased in size and pain reduced. My right hand is now getting painful when I grasp anything, even the steering wheel when I drive.
