I just read a thread that mentions a link between the 2. I have have frozen soulder in both shoulders but that was years ago and my DD has just popped up in April. Is there a connection, has this been proven? I managed the shoulder issue w/ physical theraphy and Osteo Bionomy, one is 100% the other is 90-95%.

But I have much trouble with shoulder and biceps going into spasm and tendonitis, is this all realated to the DD? I can hardly do anything without them flaring up especially the arm that I have the worse case of DD in. It also goes into my neck where I have 2 oseophytes. I do also have fibromyalgian and I am a 64 year old woman. I would like to strengthem my muscles but just about everything I do sets them into crisis like driving (no more than 30 mins one way and carrying lightweight groceries to my car and 3 bottles of 1/2 liter water to my car often.

Any help would be appreciated. And any postings to my questions would be welcomed.

There may be a "cascade" effect because of the way the muscles in the arm and shoulder change their normal function (as a result of cupping or change needed to adapt due to the contraction?). My shoulder weakened considerably as a result of my contraction but specific therapy (BodyBlade, taping and resist bands) have taken care of weakness and pain to my shoulder and rotator cuff. Only a qualified physical therapist can walk one through what should be done. None of the exercises I found on the web helped.

Yes after having gotten over two frozen shoulders through very painful therapy I will agree about the pain, but it is worth it to avoid surgery. I few have responded so there may be a connection to DD not sure at this time.

My acupunturist told me up front there was nothing she could do for DD, I didn't think there was since it is not a nerve condition nor does it run along the nerves. It is a shame your acupunturist wasn't better informed I hate to think they were just taking your money. There is plenty more for her to work on though.
