My DD started with a nodule in the r palm and a cord that is leading away from my Middle finger. And another cord to the right of my palm w/ a cord this time leading to my Thumb. On my left hand I have a slighter case but the nodule is at the bae of my Thumb (I hear that is worse actuallly) w/ a cord leading away from it. It is more unusual I hear to have these fingers involved. The pinkie is the most common. I would prefer the pinkie because if contracture begins I can continue to do most things but with the Thumb and middle finger involvement there is not much you can do if contracture begins except get NA in my opinion.

So far I have seen the cream I use slow the contracture on the middle finger which is starting to get tight and the nodules and cords. I also wear carpal tunnel splints at night and I do not wake up with all the pain and distended cords like I did before. If I have to pump my own gas, I use and older pair of splints on my hands to do this. And if I am going to be in a store (about once a month) and push a cart for awhile I wear the splints because my hands start to hurt .
