Re: Is the doctor at UCLA good to go to for NA? Was he trained in Paris?

A follow up to my last NA on 5-16-08. I highly recommend Dr Denkler. I'm amazed at how much my nodules have shrunk. It seems that this last NA has had better results than my first even though I had more growth between my first and second NA. Dr Benheim had his doubts about how much he could help with my nodules, Dr Denkler did not. This time it seems that my results get better and better over time.

Hi Linda,

I stayed at the Marriot at Larkspur. It's right next to the ferry to San Francisco and next to a nice little shopping center with a number of good eating places. BTW there's no need to stay a week if you are thinking it takes that long. I stayed just one night (flew up from L.A.) and even though I had a tiny tear (normal). I followed their instructions and all was well.

Good luck!

Good luck Linda, the first time I drove (my wife hates flying also) and the second time I flew. Either way you should be very happy with the results.

Take care

He recently did my NA. He is an excellent Dr. He is teaching UCLA medical students to do this procedure. I have gone from 45 degrees in my ring finger and 40 degrees in the finger next to it to full recovery. 0 degrees.

I went to Dr. Eaton in Florida in 04..I liked Dr. Eaton..I went to Dr. Denkler in San Francisco in Dec. 08..Both Drs are good..Their techniques are different..I had extremely good results from Dr. Denkler as he moved the joints in my fingers more and I am assuming loosened them more..My fingers were almost 100 streight..
I will make another appointment with Dr. Denkler for a redo in about 6 months..Just a nip and tuck type thing.....I have heard the doctor at U.C.L.A. is good but have not used him..I quess I was worried that he is under the thumb of the school medical board..I cannot say this for sure...I think Dr. Denkler and Benhaim have worked together
Good Luck
