Well, just ran across this and thought I'd nose around a bit. I am currently 12 days post open hand surgery (right hand). I go in tomorrow to get the stitches out. I have been very surprised at the lack of overt pain with the surgery. I was at a pretty advanced state when I went in, so I fully expect a bit of recovery after, but it sure will be nice to be able to do simple things like shake hands again, or maybe wear a glove. I've still got numbness in the fingertip that my surgeon thinks will go away and a part of the incision that doesn't appear to be healing as well as the rest, but overall I'm pretty pleased so far. How many here have tried NA? I just read about it today and am curious about results as I still have the left hand to get fixed.

Thanks
