NSAIDs for painful nodules/cords
I have one nodule/cord in my right palm. I am wondering if anyone has had luck with NSAIDs for pain. If so, which one?
I searched this forum and google for hours and because Dupuytren's is not as common as arthritis, back pain, migranes, etc etc etc there isn't any information on NSAIDs for this type of pain. And it doesn't help that hand specialists keep thinking that there is no pain associated with nodules and cords.
I had 5 days of RT the beginning of November and the next round is the first week of January. I have days when it would be nice to have something to take for pain.
Any helpful suggestions?

Re: NSAIDs for painful nodules/cords
I don't take NSAID's orally, but have tried Movelat and Voltarol on painful DD nodules, but with no clear benefit to pain.
I do use ice, or cool paks, from the freezer, and they do help, me. Sometimes ice then heat via hot water or wheat paks.
I also use compression gloves (for rheumatism and arthritis), and they provide some relief although that's probably a placebo.

Re: NSAIDs for painful nodules/cords
I take NSAIDS for arthritis but they don't take away the pain from DD. Sorry. I have also tried Voltaren Gel and that didn't help either.

Re: NSAIDs for painful nodules/cords
Heat works best for me. Hot water, heat packs, etc. NSAIDs don't do much, I agree.
