Problem with registering

Hi Linda,

when registering please note that the user name must not use any blanks, e.g. "Linda B" would not work as user name, you would need to register for example as "Linda_B".

Re: Pain and Dupuytren's

I have had DC for about a year and half. While I have only minor constricture, I have been experiencing considerable pain and some swelling in the area of the nudules and along my small fingure. The articles I have been reading state there is no pain with this disease. Could I be experiencing some other symptom?

Re: Pain and Dupuytren's

Usually I have had no pain. We use our hands constantly and irritate the nodules and they become inflamed. Also tbere are periods when dups become "active"...swelling and pain are real. In desparation I have used IcyHot and aspirin. I do not recommend this to anyone. Avoid using your hands for grabbing door handles or carrying luggage. Etc. Nice if we find someone to do our chores! Silicon gel and adhesives strips I useooccasionally.
