Hello,

I am a producer with Information Television Network, a television production company located in Boca Raton, Florida. We are the producers of the award-winning health and wellness series called “Health Body, Healthy Mind.” Now entering its 19th season, “Health Body, Healthy Mind,” airs on Public Television across the country. These programs are half hour health documentaries filled with expert information along with interesting and inspiring patient stories. I have been assigned a half hour show dedicated to Dupuytren’s.

These programs are designed to be educational, entertaining and inspirational. Patients with Dupuytren's provide a real perspective into managing and living with the condition. With this being said, I am looking to identify a couple of interesting and articulate patients to be interviewed for the show. We are looking for fascinating and articulate patient stories. Patients should be willing to spend time with our camera crew in their their home. This is where we will conduct your interview and film lifestyle footage. We want to capture on video how a patient lives and manages their Dupuytren’s. We’d also like this patient to have an interesting story to share or a unique background, job or hobby. We can really get viewers attention by interviewing patients who are fascinating.

Ideally, I am looking for patients in the South Florida community. If you live in New York City, Marquette, Michigan, La Jolla, California or Atlanta, Georgia we may be filming there as well.

Awesome to hear the Dupuytren Foundation is right up the road! We'd love to include the foundation, interview an expert doctor, (perhaps Dr.Charlies Eaton) and interview some fascinating patients in the community. These elements would make for a great program.

I would recommend that you contact Luba on this Forum. She has a story to tell about her Dupuytren's in both hands, has had needle aponevrotomy (NA) and radiation therapy (RT). The has Ledderhose's and had RT on her foot as well.
She is very articulate and has a very positive attitude.
