    Hi,

    I'm new to this forum. I have DD and LD in the early stages and am interested in RT.

    Does anyone have experieice with Dr Weiss at the UCV? How about other doctors on the East Coast?
    I'm in the Philadelphia area but have not been able to find anyone is this area with experience treating DD and LD with RT.

    Linda,

    Hi and welcome. To name a couple of recent threads, JHurst and Allisum both have had radiation with Dr. Weiss. You can also access any information concerning Dr. Weiss by using the sidebar "search" function and typing in her name or the university and anywhere in this forum if it was mentioned it will be shown to you and you can read all the threads. She appears to have a good reputation and all who have reported back to this forum had wonderful things to say about the experience.

    I was treated with radiation by Dr. Crimaldi in Charlotte, NC. He did a great job and I have been in remission for 18 months. I would highly recommend him. Also if you look under the Treatment section at the top you will see Radiation listed and under that listing is a list of all the known clinics by state. That does not mean that the list is all inclusive, it just lists the doctors who have agreed to be listed here.

    Hi Lori,

    Thanks for the response. I'm still gathering my quesitons, I'm sure I will have plenty. This forum is a great resource. I'm sure RT is what I want to do, now it's a matter of picking the right facility for me. I get the impression that not many of the facilities in the US have treated a lot of patients. I could be wrong.

    Try to find an institution which has published their results ... None from the USA !

    Larry,

    So what would you do? I need to stay in the US, I think, for Aetna to cover me. Have you had RT? If so, where?
