    When Dr. Denkler examined/palpated my hand, he found no nodules and was pleased to see that the RT had helped. My problem is the cords. They seem to be progressing. RT doesn't help the cords that have already formed. Unfortunately, that's one more thing about this disease - one type of treatment doesn't fix all facets of the disease.

    I noticed that you are seeing Dr. Denkler, are you in the Bay Area? If so were did you have your RT at? Thanks

    I live in So. Calif but went up to the Bay Area to get Dr. Denkler to perform NA.

    I had RT done at Scripps in San Diego/La Jolla. It is listed as one of the clinics under the Treatment tab at the top of the page.

    I guess i must be one of a few on here that the doctor that did my RT radiated the whole hand and what i mean by this is the complete palm and all fingers and thumbs to middle knuckles. And i agree with Flojo about the cords. Radiation doesn't really help the cords and i have 5 cords on each hand. I love my doctor and i thank my lucky stars everyday for him. THANK YOU DR. COZAD

    Any updates?

    Allisun -- I'd be interested in an update on your treatment for the recurrence. Have you completed the treatment with Dr. Seegenschmiedt? I am planning to see him in the next few weeks so I'd love to hear how it went.

    Also, David26 - any updates? Last I heard you had had a recurrence too and were trying to decide what to do.
