Re: rt
I called. Christiane in Essen was a bit difficult to contact, I believe they are very busy but eventually I got through. She speaks English and was able to explain how they do it, how much it cost, etc. I think their number has been moved to the German Dupuytren's website; it used to be on this one.
You are lucky in that your time difference isn't so great, I had to set the alarm to get up in time before they got off work!

Re: rt Essen Germany.
Hi Aussie Calling. The phone no. for Frau Giebels is (49) 201 434 2559. I was in Essen last week for a review and met Dr.Ralf Oppenkowski ,who speaks english. He was trained under Prof. Seegenschmiedt and has been his understudy for the past 15 years. He is fully aware of the protocol for the treating of dupuytrens. Frau Giebels will help with a range of accomodation if you require. The Alfred Krupp Hospital is only a few stops on the underground from the Essen Hauptbahnhoff. (main station) which is being rebuilt at the moment. Regards
