tight hand
For the last 3 days my right hand is so tight and hand aches. It feels like if you want to use hand the skin will split open. Fingers are very tight. Don't know what's going on but i'm guessing i did something to make it ache so bad. Has anyone had this same type of problem and if so what causes it. No new nodules or anything like that. No itching. The hand is just very tight not swollen its the skin that is very tight and hand doesn't really want to work because of skin. My left hand is the same. Had radiation 1 year ago and everything has been pretty good. Hands has ached now and then but this time just seems to be hanging around longer. Is this normal?

What was the radiation concept ? What total dose ? does the area around the CARPAL TUNNEL hurt ? It could be some sort of dysesthesia wchich comes from an encasted nerve route ...

I've had lots of aching, felt like the skin was tightening because I over used the hand, but never to the point of feeling like the skin would split and only for a few hours.

Would a skin moisturiser with high urea content help, or some other way to make the skin feel more supple? Maybe soaking and gentle stretches in hot water. Has the weather changed suddenly where you are? Anything else you can think of, diet, activity, etc.
