Volunteers for New Treatment Trial in New Zealand

A New Zealand health provider is seeking is seeking 5 (five) patients for a pilot study of a new treatment for Dupuytren’s contracture. There will be no financial charge for participation, you would be required to provide a complete medical history and consent to pre and post treatment photography and to attend their Auckland clinic 6 times over a 6 week period for 1 hour per time. Releases for media publication will be required however this would not require you be named of identified in any way.     A patient reported that this is not a trial but is an expensive, painful and useless treatment. We are keeping this post just as a reference and warning.
