DESPERATE FOR HELP IN TREATMENT AND WHAT DOCTOR IS GOOD

I'm desperate to avoid surgery, and needles if at all possible......Has anyone used the products from this website >>>>>? dupuytrens-contracture.com (Dupuytren Contracture Institute) ..seemingly owned and runned by a Dr. Herazy I think.

1933 North Evergreen Avenue
Arlington Heights, IL 60004
8AM - 4PM (Central) Monday - Friday
Telephone: 847-670-8800
contact@dupuytrens-contracture.com

If so, is it worth it to purchase what he claims will yield good results, ---does his treatment plans with lotions and vitamins and enyzmes, etc work?,,,,,or is it just false hope, and someone just making a buck? Need feedback, help.....

Also does an ultrasound machine work as well (with 3mghz output I'm told)?

Call me at 305-310-1808, (Miami, FLorida) my name is tim. I want to talk with live people who have been going through all this stuff......, if I don't answer cause my phone might be off, please leave me a message and number,.....thanks.... if you feel more comfortable emailing me, I am at: tmarks88@yahoo.com

It's all very distressing to a newbie ---- I have had nodules for 4 years without much change, but only recently have they starting hurting, getting larger and harder, and I'm feeling an uncomfortable and hurtful stretch in my hands when I open them wide on a flat table.......I can put my hands flat on a table, but it stretches and kind of hurts when I do so-----THIS DOES NOT FEEL NORMAL. I am hoping that R/T will do the trick for me, on edge about the whole thing, especially not knowing if I am catching it early enough to do some good.

Also: Does anyone know of a good doctor in Florida or elseware who will treat Dupuytrens with these alternative treatments....., AND --Who is the best in each category?

1. Radiation

2. N/A

3. Enzyme Injection

4. Real surgery (home I don't ever need it)

The answer is "No". From the website:

1) "It is true that DCI’s natural Alternative Medical therapies not yet fully accepted by the AMA."

2) "DCI contends it is reasonable to attempt to improve the eventual outcome of treatment by faithfully and aggressively using safe – but currently – unproven conservative Alternative Medicine treatment methods that are designed to assist the natural healing of the Dupuytren contracture ....".

Re: DESPERATE FOR HELP IN TREATMENT AND WHAT DOCTOR IS GOOD

I just browsed the DCI website. There is no data or references to any trials of any sort so I suspect that the treatment offered might make patients feel that they are doing something useful but have little if any impact on the course of the disease.

I suggest you head down the RT path as quickly as you can if possible. The longer you leave it the lower the chance of success is. The other options are available if contractions develop before treatment or RT is not successful.
