Hi Australia Calling,I was somewhat surprised in" rjjesse "case that she could not disclose the name of her treating doctor for the Radiotherapy Treatment. I have made contact with many medical practioners in an endeavour to bring this relatively new treatment to our shores. All I am doing is voiceing my own experiences. I have mentioned the doctors name and contact details which have helped others to make contact .There is a diffence to listing on the Dupuytren Society Web Page which requires the doctor to make contact with the Society for listing.I must admit it takes time to get the doctors to list as it is a low priority for them however it is free advertising which they should take up. I think it must be the same in the US that Oncologist mainly treat cancer patients . For the members of the forum I would mention you can make contact with other registered users by clicking onto ' My Profile' and go to 'Send an Email' by selecting the name from the drop down window. This enables the passing on of information that we may not wish to place on the forum. I had treatment in Germany because I could not find an oncologist in Australia. I am trying to do my bit to broaden the horizon for others. Finally I have tried to make contact with the Aust Medical Association (A.M.A.) to bring this treatment to the notice of the General Practioners as they are the first to see the patient.The same could be done in the US.
