Flu Shoot and Dupuytren / ledderhose
Hello,
there has been some post regarding Vaccination and dupuytrens.
Does anyone know is it safe to get a flu shot when you have ledderhose and dupuytrens?

Re: Flu Shoot and Dupuytren / ledderhose
Hi Jolene,
I'm off for my fifth annual shot next week. They don't appear to have affected either my Depuytren's or Ledderhose - and I've hardly had a cold since starting them, let alone flu!
Hope that helps... Potter

Re: Flu Shoot and Dupuytren / ledderhose
I am not aware of any connection between flu vaccination (or any other vaccination) and DD or LD. My DD commenced well before I started getting flu vaccination.
Beware of anecdotal connections, especially those that stop people seeking effective treatments.
Vaccination is a very effective public health measure that prevents disease.
While not 100% effective vaccination against flu reduces the incidence of disease and severity.
And just in case it is raised, there is no link between vaccination and autism and vaccines are not toxic.
