Re: Good doctors in the Dallas area?

I too live in the Dallas area. The first "board certified" hand doctor I went to told me they were callouses. This after I told him I had been really sick for a year and I am a 58 year old retired female. Second doc said nothing they could do, it was Dupuytren's, full surgery only option, no tests or anything just looked at hands. Third doc did give me shot in both hands because the pain in my palms was literally keeping me up at night. He says he can do the NA surgery, hasnt done "that many" but at least he was willing to do it when I get a cord. The only thing is the second time I went for a shot in my right palm, he did graze a nerve (said it was nothing, just the medicine) and my finger stayed numb for two days and bothered me for months, so I am not sure about going to him for NA. So now I am just waiting to see what the nodule on my pinkie does, it is already causing a slight contraction, but Eaton said he couldnt help me at this time. I am sorry I am no help, have certainly tried to find someone I am in confident in here in the Dallas area, but so far not a lot of luck. If you want the name of the doc who said he could do the NA surgery, I will certainly give it to you. I don't know about listing his name on this site. But if you email me at patandpaula@sbcglobal.net I will be glad to give it to you. Wolfgang, is it ok to list docs name without asking them?

Re: Good doctors in the Dallas area?

We always ask first before listing someone. Not every doctor wants his name listed and we need agreement on what data are being published. Of course, if you privately email the name to someone that's completely up to you.
