Had the surgery Nov.10 2010

I have dupuytren. The good Dr. had to remove one of the tendinit out of my finger because it was so scared so he put a pin in the side of the finger which he removed after 2 weeks All the stiches after 3 weeks. Guess what now the finger is stuck stright out with very little movement. I have been in Hand therapy since the surgery and this week she told me that she really thinks something else must be going on because it is not acting like the normal Dupuytren after the surgery. The scaring just built up way to Quick. So what now?
She really thinks it is some other thing along with the Dupuytren. And now my other hand is hurting an has some swelling in the joints.
has anyone eles had this kind of problems and does anyone have any idels where for me to go next?

thanks
judy

I think you need to get a clear explanation from the Dr who performed the surgery on what it was he did and why. Removing a flexor or extensor tendon, if that's what he did, sounds quite radical and is going to result in loss of function.

As for other symptoms, again you should consult with a hand or joint specialist, maybe not the same Dr.
