NA in Minnesota
I'm considering NA and looking for a doctor in or near Minnesota that performs the procedure. Any referrals or personal experience to share?
Thanks!

Re: NA in Minnesota
Dr. Marco Rizzo at the Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, does NA and received training from Dr. Eaton. I had an NA procedure from Dr. Rizzo a year ago. It was only partially successful, but I had a difficult and unusual contracture. I will probably go back for more treatment of other areas of my hands.

Re: NA in Minnesota
quinnt01: Dr. Nicholas Meyer, from St. Croix Orthopedics (http://www.stcroixortho.com/Staff-Detail...54-5ced5fed2cf7) is another Twin City physician who studied with Eaton.
Did Dr. Meyer talk about the extent of his NA experience? I think I'll be needing several NA treatments in coming years, and he's a lot closer to me than Dr. Rizzo in Rochester. But I have some difficult contractures.

He said he had done about 20 so far. I suggest you make an appointment and meet him. He seems knowledgeable and I found him very willing and easy to talk with.
Have you ever looked for someone in Minnesota to do radiation therapy? I've been very frustrated and so far the three radiation oncologists I've contacted haven't even bothered to call or write back.

No and I don't think I want to try. It seems like a long uphill battle, trying to sell a doctor on the procedure and then (hopefully) getting the insurer to pay for it. And anyway, my hands are at the point where I really need some contractures released, it's too late for radiation therapy.
