I have been reading some very interesting threads on here today as it was finally confirmed yesterday (about 12months after initially going to the doctors!) that I have Dups. Unbelievable after my appointment yesterday you can imagine my dissapointment if finding it in the early stage in my left hand too!

I had self diagnosed with Dups a few weeks ago and began looking into treatments etc and read about Ultrasound. Is this similar to the Radiotherapy that gets discussed on here? Luckily I have a freind who is a physician and am having a session this evening. Has anybody else tried Ultrasound? My GP dismissed it and basically said come back when you cannot live with it anymore, sod that I'm only 32!

This condition has been developing to my knowledge for about 2.5years but only noticable recently although I have full use of my fingers my palm is starting to feel tight. Also I have been away last weekend and had far too many beers, this has made the swelling really bad in my palm, will this go down after a few weeks?
