newman: Hi Shorney Firstly I did not see in your posting your age . You must realize that hand surgeons are not in the business of administering Radiotherapy so I would look for an Oncologist who has an interest in treating benign diseases. NA would only be an option when you have around 30 degree contraction to break the cord. Do not have surgery. Further it has been reported that up to 80% of patients with Dupuytrens never need treatment. I have not seen any evidence reported of cancer after the treatment of the Low Dose RT administered for Dupuytrens. Compliments of the Season from Down Under.
I am 62 years young. I read that the majority don't contract but I thought maybe because I had this tight feeling in my palms and fingers, that was a sign. But then I am new to this.
