    Has anyone heard of ultrasound, light therapy, or other type of instrumentation that would help reduce the size of nodules and cords? and/or help with pain

    Both have been discussed on here several times. Including suggestions for specific machines one can use at home, as there are different types (frequencies) of both ultrasound and light. There was no consensus that it helps long term. Have a browse or use search function on ultrasound and laser.

    This therapy is helpful for me after NA surgery to help reduce swelling and with flexibility which helps with pain. What don't you make an appointment with a certified hand therapist to get your questions answered and to see if any of these things will be helpful to you.

    You've gotten lots of suggestions. No matter how many times you ask the question, the answers are going to be the same. There are no miracle cures to reduce the nodules and cords and you have to experiment with things that make your hands feel better. You might be able to find a certified hand surgeon who is familiar with DD to do steriod injections in the nodules to soften them--that sometimes works but it's only a short-term solution.

    Dr.. Eaton injected steroid I believe into my nodules .... years ago ...and the nodules are still smaller .. softer ..and some have disappeared ... one area had two sets of injections .... six weeks apart ..
