Sudden Onset of Severe Pain and Scarring

I have had symptoms of duruytrins for more than 30 years without severe symptoms. I just exhibited some thickening of tendons in both palms.
I have just recently started therapy for a chronic sinus infection. The new topical antibiotics proved effective after 30 years of ineffective conventional antibiotic therapy. As the infection cleared, the aching pain traveled down my arm, and caused severe pain in my palm of my right hand. The pain is equvalant to a right thumb philanges bone fracture, with pins surgically implanted.
Overnight I developed a deep groove in my right palm. One from the little finger side, and one from my thumb pocket, that nearly meet at the original nodule below my right ring finger.

This has been very sudden, and therfore a little scarry for a condition that has been fairly benign for over 40 years. The scarriest part is that it ain't over, and I already have 10 times the scar tissue these last 2 days than I have had over the last 40 years.

Is there any president? I will be calling my GP.

Thank you,

Keith

Which antibiotics did you use?

Muiprocin ointment in my nose, and ear, and Neomycin-Otic in my ear, and mouth. I seem to have an infection resembling Imphentigo in my cheek bone from a failed wisdom tooth extraction 30 years ago.

Thank you.

Re: Sudden Onset of Severe Pain and Scarring

I can suggest about Hypnosis, since it has been used for pain relief for centuries, and even today is used in surgical procedures. Pain relief with hypnosis has been shown to work by lowering the brain's response to pain signals, and it is possible to learn how to manage your own pain quickly. Thats why I got hypnotherapy treatment from Marian massie
