15/04/2009 21:24:57 My first surgery was a disaster. The surgeon used the wrong procedure. I had to have corrective surgery 6 months after which left me with a swan neck deformity. That was corrected with a third surgery called a fusion. My left hand had a needle apuroonotmy which was very successful but the disease has returned to left hand necessitating a 4th surgery in 4 years. I am not happy about this but there is nothing more I can do about it.

20/04/2009 10:57:50 I had the following idea : I had me made an orthopaedic devics that keeps my fingers straight (nearly), like a stiff glove. I wear it during the night and I'm pretty sure that my hand won't close (I'm in stage N : quite some fibers in the palm of my hand and betweem thumb and index, but I still can put my hand flat on a table). This won't prevent the Dupuytren from growing, but I believe and hope it will keep my fingers straight.
