The DC Alternative Tx Lady with bad hips

Well hello there dupuytren's friends. This is the rare lady that has been helped extensively by alternative medicine for my dupuytrens. Yes I am still here, yes I still have it. But my hands have remained open after being severely contracted and NA's scheduled for both at the time before TCM. Though, it doesn't go away. Yes I am still in TCM weekly, yes I have quit drinking and I think it helps a lot.

I am very active with weekly tennis, pickleball, biking and hiking. I am now 56. Here is the thing; in my hiking, I am struggling more and more with my hips not wanting to climb. If I go too fast, they lock up and my back starts to really hurt from the pulling in the hips. If I go very slow, I can climb all day but if I try to keep up with my family and friends like I used to I just can't. So I slow everyone down and it is a problem. This gunky thing on the tendons, it's not just happening on the hands and feet is it? It is happening to all the tendons right? Is this why I feel so much pulling in my hips when I climb? Can anyone comment on this issue?

Fibrosis can occur in other parts of the body. An example is frozen shoulder, and there is a discussion on one of the FB groups about ‘frozen hip’. See Wikipedia too https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibrosis Like you I believe in keeping active, but not to the point of injury or strain, although that is difficult sometimes.
