Contraction started
I woke up this morning and when I started to straighten my hand I had a cramp like pain in my hand, when this subsided after about 10 minutes I was able to open my hand I realised my middle finger was contracted about 15 to 20 degrees, has anyone else had such rapid deterioration? I had RT about 4 or 5 years ago. It is still uncomfortable now when I try to straighten my hand,

Mary have you tried soaking in your hand in very hot water, and massaging it to see if flexibility returns? If the contraction is due to a DD cord this will only marginally help, if at all. Otherwise maybe you was sleeping on the hand in a curled position. Do you have a cord?

I haven't tried that, my hand was curled when I woke up but middle finger still has same degree of contracture some 4 hours after this incident and I can feel the cord pulling when I try and straighten it. Will try soaking it thanks,
