Sorry Terry, one more question... Approximately how much did your treatment cost and was it just one injection per nodule? I know everyone will likely be different but am just looking for some ball park idea of price as at the moment I have none.

As I am flying from Thailand, I am also hoping it is just one injection and not a series of injections repeated over the course of a few weeks as that could work out quite expensive!

Dr Chin's office won't give a quote over email - I guess he needs to see the fibroma first, which is understandable. I just have the one, in the ball of my right foot.

I am currently trying to get an appointment confirmed.

Hi everyone, well I promised an update, just in case anyone is interested in finding out how it went. I met with Dr Chin, who is a very caring professional.

He examined the nodule on my foot, then asked to see my other foot, and then examined my hands. He then told me something I was definitely not expecting. I had been mis-diagnosed after my MRI. I do not have Ledderhose. He said the nodule on my foot was an inclusion cyst, possibly caused by a cut or some minor trauma.

So a few days ago, I had surgery and it's gone. I am still in shock and can't believe I spent so long thinking I had another illness because of the wrong diagnosis. Hopefully, this is the end of the problem for me and I feel so overwhelmingly grateful and fortunate.
